Use the official Tuya integration, it works with the smartlife app too.

It is still in beta, maybe better to post issues in their Github. But looking at the install specs, it is missing a reboot. If you copy the source, you need to reboot before it is picked up.

That is not the problem, he put it in /smartlife, not in /custom_components/smartlife, but the beta is really abandoned because they merged everything in the official Tuya integration.

That BETA Integration is no longer valid. if you go to the github page (GitHub - tuya/tuya-smart-life: Tuya Smart Life Home Assistant Integration), you will see the following.

:warning: This project has now officially been integrated into the Home Assistant official project core repository, corresponding to version 2024.2. This project will no longer continue to iterate. Subsequent iterations and support will be carried out under the Home Assistant official project. If you have any questions, please communicate at Issues · home-assistant/core · GitHub. Thank you.

use the official integration here Tuya - Home Assistant

ok!

but I have problem with Tuya - Home Assistant.

After a few days the integration no longer works.
When I try to reload the integration I see this error:

I read that with Tuya the authentication token expires and needs to be renewed. Is this true?
