I need help.
I’ve just finished moving and I’m exhausted and unable to create a template light. I’ve read the Template Light - Home Assistant page dozens of times but I’m still unable to grasp it. On top of that, my wife is bitching at me to get this fixed since it worked on our previous home (tried copying it and replacing on the new instance but I’m so tired that I ended up overwriting the previous instance and now I have nothing to go on).
I have a switch called switch.sala_interruptorparede_l2 hooked up to a lamp called light.sala_lampadacima.
Alll I want to do is create a template light that basically turns on/off the switch and sends all other value changes to the lamp.
Help.
