I had profie images on in previous version, for use in a ‘who’s home’ card.
After updating the profile images in ‘persons’ it still shows the old images in the bottom left corner of the lovelace gui.
How do I get rid of the old images, so it will use the new ones?
I realize this is a bit old but I had the same problem today, replying if anyone else gets here 
I finally realized I had an entry in customize.yaml that was setting the image to the person entity. After I deleted that line it started using the profile images from the People config page.
