iBeacon and iOS App 2.0

Hi guys,

I want to use iBeacon to turn on a light when I’m arriving at the garage and turn it off the the iBeacon is not reachable.

I’ve create a dedicated Zone with Beacon UUID, but the app seems to not trigger the zone enter/exit. Using OwnTracks and MQTT, the action using iBeacon works as expected. Is still supported the iBeacon function? Any hints?

iOS App 2.0 ignores iBeacon zone exits.

Ok… so best solution it’s owntracks…

There isn’t any one best solution. Your implementation is different than mine. My current exit trigger is to simply tell Siri I’m leaving.
