iBeacons without GPS in the HA ios app

Hi,

To save battery on iPhones, I’d like to disable GPS fully in the IOS app and rely only on iBeacons. E.g. when I get home, I’d like the HA app to detect the iBeacon, change the state in HA to ‘home’ and the same when leaving.

I can’t really get the IOS app to report anything if GPS is disabled for it, is it my setup or is the functionality not supported ?
