I checked my daughters phone and it was asking her to accept new FindMy terms and conditions. Now I’ve done that it’s started working again for her. Maybe it’s the same for you.
Both already did this and didnt help.
Do any errors or warnings show up in the Event Log? A message is displayed under the Actions selection field. Actions will also let you display only errors, warnings and startup messages.
I see no errors at all. The location update is change but takes a long time…
yesterday had problems, but a manual “update all locations” shows correct locations. Looking at the history, nothing updated before or after.
Hi guys,
I have tried using the iCloud Integration but faced alot of issues until i stumble about iCloud3.
I have managed to follow the guide and setup my phone successfully inside my HA.
I have a question, i would like to track my Parents phone as well, but each of them are using their own iCloud email address. Any advise how can i include this as the phones are not tied to my icloud but on their own?
You can add them to family sharing.
So once i add them to family sharing. I should just proceed and add the email address inside the ic3_config file am i right?
From memory it’s the device name that is added to the ic3 configuration.
We have several devices that show up in the icloud3 integration and can see there device names however the only ones tracked are those who’s device names have been added to the ic3 config.
Thanks, will give this a try…
Hi All,
I have something new. I changed my config so im using Cloudflare.
Everything is working great. All adding are working, I can access everything from outside without open ports in my Asus Router.
iCloud3 is working but I see those errors:

Do you know what this can be?
Cheers,

How did you configure cloud flare without opening ports? Are you using the HA IOS/Android App? I didn’t think they worked without opening port unless you use Nabu Casa.
https://community.home-assistant.io/t/re-new-add-on-cloudflared/362521/6
A new Addon. With this Addon you create a tunnel to Cloudflare.
In my router only port 80 and 443 was open. Now because of this add-on I removed them because those ports are now proxied via the tunnel to HA
HTTP ports supported by Cloudflare: 80, 8080, 8880, 2052, 2082, 2086, 2095
HTTPS ports supported by Cloudflare: 443, 2053, 2083, 2087, 2096, 8443
So if we know this, there is nothing changed… only my ports are closed because of tunnel to Cloudflare and from there they are open.
HA companion Apps for iso and android work fine?
the link your provided doesn’t work
HA Ap iOS is working great
was wrong link:
Hi,
I have been using icloud3 for many months now and not had any issues. Thanks for a great integration.
In the last couple of days I have stared getting this message in my log.
My phone is showing no location data, but then the correct co-ordinates are displayed.
My wife’s phone (Family Sharing) is being updated ok.
Is this a bug or am I missing something.
Discarded > No location data (#1), OldLocThreshold-1.5 min, GPS-(53.867991, -1.272054), NextUpdt-4:11:45, OldLocPoorGpsCnt-#1, DiscardCnt-#1
I have not made any changes to my configuration or my phone.
I can send the full log if required.
Regards
Ian
I had a similar issue with one of my Family Sharing devices in the past couple of days. In the end the problematic device hadn’t accepted Apple’s new terms of service for iCloud so all Find My updates had stopped.
Once the new terms were accepted location updates worked again.
I have checked and it is not that.
My phone is the primary device, it is weird that my wife’s phone is ok and that is via Family sharing whereas my device is directly on the iCloud being accessed.
My device is permanently showing in iCloud3 as ‘NotSet’
Ok, sorted it.
Find my Phone was turned off on my phone.
Don’t know how that had happened. I have a new phone on order, being delivered today. Not sure if it might be related to that, but seems a bit odd.
Stupid me, didn’t think to check that in the first instance. Doh!
thanks for listening.
