Icons at the topbar

How can I change the names into icons at the topbar? It seems I can’t find anywhere to change the entities from names to icons, but I’ve seen many screenshots where for example “Home” has the icon of a house or “lights” the icon of a lightbulb.

I would love to change them by local files if possible.

So what I did try:

  • Customization: seems I don’t have the topbar inside the entity list?
  • Configure UI: click on the “name” to get the “View configuration”, then fill in at “icon (optional)”: local/filename.png. (the file is at config/www) Doesn’t work at this point :frowning:

Probably it will be something simple I’m overlooking.

You can only use MaterialDesignIcons.

Didn’t know that’s the only way to go… Had thought about this before, but wanted to use “own” icons. Will use MDI instead for this.
