Icons... Lighted when Off and viceversa

Hello guys… I need your help because I would like 1 strange thing in my home assistant icon config.

Actually (logical) the icon is lighted when the light is ON. But I would like it in reverse mode… I would like that that the icon is lighted when Light is OFF.

Are there any way to do this??

You could create a theme that swaps these two variables:

  state-icon-color:
  state-icon-active-color:

I am completely new in home assistant. I installed file editor, but by now I don’t know how to setup new themes :pensive:
I you can help me step by step how to do this… will be appreciated

I only want that the icon is lighted when light is on ONLY with “toggle-switch-variant” icon

There are instructions in the link I provided.

Well that is completely different to your first request. You will probably have to use card-mod on a case by case basis. Search the forum for help with card-mod.

Sounds like Button Card can do it. It can be installed through HACS.
