Hi, I’m not normally one for asking these awfully nooby questions. But both Google and Youtube have not helped in this regard.
I brought a Tuya Zigbee TRV for my Radiators to replace the dumb Inta 43 models installed.
I simply cannot figure out how to install these, I’m not even sure if they will be compatible.
Ive attached two pictures, one of the old trv connection and the radiator, and another of the three adaptors and the connection on the Zigbee TRV. Any starting points are appriciated.
if it’s a case of me just being embarrasing and it just screws on fine (which it does) then I’ll just swiftly delete this post.
That hex shaped adapter looks promising. But seems to be smaller than the hex shape of the valve.
So your best approach is to ask a craft man, who can advise on the valve and the adaptors. Or go to a DIY shop, like B&Q, OBI, Castorama, BauHaus, BricoMarche, or whatever is in your country, go to the section where they are selling radiators and show the pictures to the person working in that department, to be able to identify the valve’s connection and then to be able to search for the right adapter on the Internet. (Probably the shop will not have it, but you can give it a try.) Also, measure the size of the hex part of the valve, maybe bring the new and old TRV with you as reference.
