IFTTT integration has no CONFIGURE button

I want to get IFTTT working so that I can use my wirelesstags.net sensors. But I hit a wall immediately. When I install the IFTTT integration, it appears in the list, but there is no CONFIGURE button. There is only RENAME and the three dots. Since the instructions start with “click the CONFIGURE button”, I am stuck. Any idea what I might have done wrong?

Thank you.

You’ve already installed IFTTT. Try clicking on the three dots, and click on uninstall. Then press the yellow add button, choose IFTTT, and do the setup.
By the way, I don’t see how it starts with that:

SETTING UP THE INTEGRATION
To set it up, go to the integrations page in the configuration screen and find IFTTT. Click on configure. Follow the instructions on the screen to configure IFTTT.

The very first thing that happens when I click the plus sign and select IFTTT is a little popup that says “Are you sure that you want to set up IFTTT?” and a SUBMIT button. I click SUBMIT. I get a SUCCESS window with a FINISH button. I click that, and then IFTTT appears on my integrations page. But all I see is RENAME and the three dots. Click on the three dots, and I see “System options” or “Delete”. Click on system options and all I see is an “Enable newly discovered entities” switch (which is on by default) and an UPDATE button. Then I’m back to the list of integrations. Is that really all there is to it? I guess I just got confused because the instructions, as you note above, say to go to the integrations page and find IFTTT, then click on configure, but I never see any configure button, so I thought I was doing it wrong somehow.

I thought I might have something wrong because I really haven’t been able to make the wirelesstags work in HA (they work fine with their own phone app).

You’re right, they never said “configure” in the integrations page. I think it used to be instead of having an arrow pointing right, there was a big CONFIGURE button next to each integration.
But yes, that’s all there is to it.
Although I think you should uninstall and reinstall again, because when you configure it it gives you instructions for how to use it.

This is a problem for many integrations that display a long list of devices in the space where a “Configure” button normally lives.
It makes it difficult if not impossible to revise the choices made the first time the integration was added.
If this post is “dead” and no longer receiving attention, I’ll post a new one with this question.
