I am brand new to the home automation world. I have HA up and running through virtual box on a dedicated Mac desktop. I also have hacs working after a few problems. I have my other discovered integrations up and running. I have been interested in starting some motion sensors automations. I found this motion sensor on sale for 50% off and purchased a couple to play around with. These are hubless sensors from iHome iSB01 and they run by producing their own WiFi connection that is add into the iHome app to connect to your home network. I am wondering if there is anyway around running HomeKit to integrate with HA. Any help is greatly appreciated!!
try tuya or smart life they seem to be able to detect a lot of different things if you get it in there thegetting it in HA should be pretty simple. let me know how you come out
