IKEA Dirigera hub - best way to integrate it (in 2025)

Hello community,

I was wondering what is your recommendation how to best integrate IKEA Dirigera hub into HA. As I can understand there are currently three ways:

• matter
• HACS integration by sanjoyg (GitHub - sanjoyg/dirigera_platform: HomeAssistant Integration for Dirigera Platform)
• homekit

Which one is the best in your experience?

I recommend to use the matter integration. It is stable and easy to set up. It exposes most of your entities to home assistant except few ones such as Ikea Parasoll and Badring sensors. However, it is just a matter of time and they will be implemented as well.

can you point me in a direction or tutorial on how to do the integration via matter. I’m not getting it to work, as i only get a url request instead of a matter bridge pairing code.
