Hi guys, this thing is driving me insane. So I have 12 GU10 spots of IKEA Tradfri running for 18 months now. Suddenly one of them dies. No biggie, I just get a new one. Then all trouble started…
This new one keeps turning on by itself when I have turned it off using HA. It’s completely random. Sometimes right after I turn it off, sometimes after ranging between 2 minutes up to 2 hours after. I have also switched places with other lights, and it still turns on. So it can’t be my wiring, since it happens no matter where I plug it in. All others have 0 issues. So I replaced that one, thinking it was a defect. Then the newer one ALSO randomly turns on. I’m losing my mind here. One thing I did notice is that it also sometimes flashes when turned on. I also noticed this with the one I sent back as a defect. So perhaps it cuts out power very shortly, which causes the bulb to turn on by itself when it’s off. I don’t know if I’m unlucky enough to have 2 random defects, or if the newer model has changed in something, resulting to not like my power/wiring?
The new one is: LED1837R5
The other 11 that work fine are : LED1659R5

Though I do not think the issue lies within HA or other components. Anyone else having the same experience or perhaps a way to fix it? I looked for a way to save the last state on the bulbs, so that when it’s off it won’t just turn on. Unfortunately I haven’t found a way to add that to this bulb (I know the Hue lights support that feature.
