IKEA integrations challenges

I’m going to stop posting in the ‘SOLVED’ thread, as it seems a bit silly to have a solved, and then all the posts with probems.
So I’m running the version from @7even, and it’s working very well with the updated code.

I have one major problem, which @ludeeus tells me will be solved in 0.102.x and that is that all the IKEA entities are marked as unavailable after a reboot.
Today I had yet another challenge, which is quite odd, after a reboot, I removed the IKEA integration and recreated it, that part worked as usual, but now, an hour later it looks like this:

Just to emphasize, I only have ONE gateway

I have never seen that issue before. :open_mouth:
Did you reboot after you removed the IKEA intergation?

Yes I removed, then rebooted and readded. It got worse during the day, in the evening I had two pages of them. So I removed it again, rebooted and readded, and haven’t seen it again.
Now the last two boots it hasn’t lost the entities.
I have a silly problem, all my IKEA entities now have two battery sensors, as it looks like the format for the entities are ‘correct’, so now it reads the built in battery level.
I also have a weird status for the blinds ‘repeater’ it doesn’t have a battery, but it still shows up with a battery status

Anyone know if ther is any plan to bring the battery status for the blinds back?
In version 0.100 i had an entity for each blind showing the battery status.
It got removed in v0.101 and I haven’t seen it since then. Its a quite nice feature…

That’s true, that seems to be gone at the same time that the blinds integration was fixed.

Not sure where to bump for this to be corrected/implemented. Or maybe its already in the pipe.

Maybe @7even can enlighten us both on this, the issues are here: https://github.com/home-assistant/home-assistant/issues

Having problem with blinds that shows status opening when they are open(in homekit), close works fine.
