IKEA PRAKTLYSING blinds strange behavior since recently

I am using IKEA PRAKTLYSING blinds (via ZHA) for few months, and so far everything worked ok. However since few days the blinds are behaving differently. I think it’s since last HA update.

I have following versions:

  • Core2024.9.3
  • Supervisor2024.09.1
  • Operating System13.1
  • Frontend20240909.1

Blinds are always being reported at 50%. Also direction is reversed - if I want to open they close and vice versa. If I try to change “Inverted” flag it get’s reset.

I can issue command for blinds to move to position - but it will actually move to (100% - setposition), and then it will report them as being at 50%.

Firmware on blinds is reported as 0x23079631, and “Up-to-date”.

Does anybody has any idea, or suggestion what to try?

Please don’t post AI generated text, none of that is helpful to the OPs issue.

@marcomr Have you tried removing and repairing the device? You could also try reconfiguring it, but I generally have more success just removing it and starting over.

No, I actually have completely new instance of Home Assistant, with even new zigbee coordinator, but still I have the same issue.

And today, after the update, it just started working correctly again.

Now I am on:

  • Core2024.10.3
  • Supervisor2024.10.2
  • Operating System13.2
  • Frontend20241002.3

And today, after another HA update, it’s gone again.

Now I am running:

  • Core2024.11.1
  • Supervisor2024.11.2
  • Operating System13.2
  • Frontend20241106.2

This is unbelivable!

I think im having this same issue I just updated to 24.11.1 Im forcing it to revert back to 24.10.3 to see if that fixes it but idk yet did you fix it?

No, still not working, even after update to Core 2024.11.2

And now it’s back working:

  • Core2024.11.3
  • Supervisor2024.11.4
  • Operating System13.2
  • Frontend20241106.2

I pretty much expect it to stop working again after December update…
