I´m having issues trying to pair a aqara motion sensor via the repeater instead of the conbee 2 stick.
The sensor always picks the conbee stick instead of the repeater (which I set to permit via the gui). What would be the best way to get them to connect to the repeater directly or would I be better of with a cc2530 or cc2531 as a repeater?
I did this the other day, I had to hold the Aqara sensor within an inch of the ikea repeater.
I don’t know if it was required or not, but I pushed the button very second or so on the aqara sensor after the initial start of pairing.
When I went to look at the visualization it showed the sensor orphaned until I restarted the whole HA box… then it looked right.
That indeed did the trick.
Do you use any other motion sensors? My Ikea motion sensor gave a false positive last night. I was able to disable the alarm in time. I would need a reliable motion sensor (zigbee or z-wave). For now the Aqara have been great.
