Ikea Tradfri and Zigbee2MQTT

Hi everyone,

I have purchased 4 IKEA LED1837R5 light bulbs and integrated them with HA using Zigbee2MQTT with automatic discovery.

I can turn the bulbs on and off using HA just fine. But if I use the wall switch, the status is not updated in HA. It maintains the last known ‘HA status’ - almost as if it is not polling the device.

Can anyone suggest what I might have missed?

There used to be a setting in the zigbee2mqtt settings

reporting : true

or

report : true

I should check the zigbee2mqtt documentation

Francis - thank you. This pointed me in the right direction. I turned on ‘Reporting’ and set the ‘Availability Timeout’ status check to 30 (seconds) in the Zigbee2MQTT Advanced settings.

Now it reports the status correctly.
