Ikea Tradfri Lamp added but not switchable

Good day (o;

Just added my Ikea Tradfri gateway where two remote controls, a ceiling lamp and a power socket device is connected…

Integration was fine…and it lists all 5 devices (incl. gateway)…

When I click on the entity from the Ikea integration panel I can toggle the on/off control for the lamp and the power socket…but it doesn’t do anything…

Also when switching on/off with the Ikea remotes the state is not reflected in HA…

In the system logs I also don’t see any errors…

Any idea what is missing here?

Okay…dumped the Tradfri gateway and use the ConBee II USB stick…

Much better control now and no more stupid pairings of remote and power outlet anymore (o;

Check Ikea home app for updates
Restart ikea hub and restart HA

Did that already :slight_smile:

Much better with ConBee II as remotes don’t need to be linked with any Ikea device.
That way I can use the Ikea remotes for every device or action I want :wink:
