IKEA Tradfri - Migration problems

I’ve recently migrated from docker on a synology nas, back to my initial device, the raspberry pi 3 in the form of the HASS-io.
It mostly went without a fuzz, except that i have to configure my IKEA trådfri gateway once again. And that is not as easy as I could have hoped.
Firstly can’t i quite understand why i am presented with 2x dialogs for configuring it: ikea1
And on top of that, when i put in the code from my gateway, and clicks ‘Confirm’ nothing happens.
It dosen’t even close the window:
ikea2
I have no idea how to tackle this. I’ve been trying to migrate back to a new fresh installed docker image on the nas again, and it stays the same there too.
I’ve tried to reset the gateway, with no change either. i’ve flashed a new installment off HASSio on another card and on another PI, same result.

I’ve seen another post about it in here, with someone replacing the original component file (tradfri.py) somewhere inside the engine room. I’ve got no idea how to do that.
Is there anyone that can help a guy out here? I’m out of ideas, and maybe some of you have solved this issue before?

I recommend you to wait until hass.io is updated to 0.58 (should be released any day). The key handling has been vastly improved in 0.58 vs 0.57.

i’ve got it working again by going back to docker and upgrading to 58 and resetting the gateway once again.
After that it took my key, and i could start building the setup again…

Just a nightmare with 20+ bulbs, remotes, motion sensors etc. and making sure the groups and entitys were name exactly the same as before so that all the HA configurations were working again.
I sincerely hope this was the last time i had to do that
