IKEA Tradfri - Some lights don't change color temperature

Hi!
First of all sorry for my bad English
I opened the same topic a few days ago, but I realized I choosed wrong title and I explained my problem in a pretty incomprehensible way. So here I am, again.

Someone can help me? I have a “strange” problem with HA, Zigbee2MQTT, IKEA Tradfri bulb and Tradfri remote.

I configured all following the instruction on zigbee2mqtt.io
I have a chandelier with 5 bulbs, type GU10. Note: I bought one box with 3 bulbs and 1 remote and 2 bosx with only a bulb. Same model. I’ll write “bulbs 1-2” for the bulb in the single box and “3-5 bulbs” for the items in the bundle with remote.
First time: using HA panel I could control all the bulb in one time. On/Off, color temperature and brightness, using remote I can switch the bulbs On/Off and dimmer the light BUT

  1. click on the switch to change color temperature -> “3-5” change the color temperature
  2. click again on the switch (doesn’t matter if I try to low or rise color temperature) and:
    a) “1-2” bulbs switch following che first command (described in point 1)
    AND
    b) “3-5” bulbs change (again) following the second input.
I tried to dimmer the light before use color temperature command and a lot of other conmbination. No effetct. “1-2” bulbs was always a step back “3-5” bulbs when talking about color temperature.

So I reset all the bulbs. New (same) configuration. Now “1-2” bulbs ignore all the temperature color from the remote. Only from the remote.
I tried to read the debug log, noticed something strange but can’t realize what’s wrong.

Please help me, I’m going mad.

Did you reset the remote ? Do 1-2 have the same firmware as 3-5?

Yes, all the bulbs have the same firmware, the last version. Remote’s firmware is the last version, too.

I just reset the remote. Due it auto-connected with a bulb, I had to reset all the bulbs, too.
Now none of the bulbs change the color temperature using remote :frowning:

I used to use zigbee2mqtt for my IKEA Tradfri bulbs. A few weeks ago I changed to ZHA (ZigbeeHomeAutomation) and the IKEA bulbs are way more responsible than with the zigbee2mqtt addon in hass.io.

Have you tried to connect to ZHA? Just as an alternative, if you can’t get this solved.

I just tried to use ZHA, but it can’t connect to my CC2531 USB stick. I’m sure I set the right port (the same that use zigbee2mqtt) but ZHA can’t connect to the device. In ZHA’s documentation I find that my stick is an experimental support, yet.

Reading zigbee2mqtt log, I noticed that the remote send the “change color temperature” to HA. I know that using HA panel I can change the bulbs’ temperature color. So I thought: there’s a way to say to HA “if you get a command from remote, else send another command to the bulbs”?

I think you could use binding for this?

Unfortunately I can’t use that. Here https://www.zigbee2mqtt.io/devices/E1524_E1810.html says that the remote can be bound using binding only if firmware version is > 2.3.014. I updated my remote’s firmware but it is version 1.2.223 and HA (zigbee2mqtt add-on) says that is up-to-date.

Did you try getting the group id as well, as it points out under “Note”?

Update!
Good News!
After the last bulbs’ firmware update (yes, bulbs, not remote) the color temperature change!

That sounds good! Is this for the TRADFRI bulb E27 WS opal 1000lm for example?
What’s the latest firmware version of the bulbs?

No, the GU10 as said in the first message. However bulbs’ Firmware version is 2.0.029 .
