Im having issues seting up ZHA with sonoff 3.0 CP210x family

Hi there,

(sorry for typos, i wear a fat bandae on my index finger)

just got my sonoff zigbee 3.0 dogle… (does the 3.0 means it shoud be on a USB3.0 port? i suspect not as i think it refers to zigbee version not usb version?)

lsusb on the host says:

Bus 001 Device 003: ID 10c4:ea60 Cygnal Integrated Products, Inc. CP2102/CP2109 UART Bridge Controller [CP210x family]

HA terminal just reports the Bus/Device and ID but it does that on all USB devices.

and HA detects this device correctly.

Screenshot is from adding zha manually from integrations page:

If I click add on the discoverd device on integration page, and it asks if I want to upload a backup or create a new network.

Since its new, and replaces my IKEA stuff, I click new network, and then it takes a minute or so and reports failure with option to click “ok”.

The Sonoff dongle is straight out of the box. havent checked firmware or did any flashing what so ever, as I have read that ZHA dose OTA with sonoff.

any hints what Im missing?

thanks
Manny

dump, i just checked logs: says at the end (last line), cant create network, too much interference…

all of the named stuff is right next to the hp pro liant micro… and I probably wont have a usb extension handy…

edit: found an extention from logitech for the unified keyboards/mous dongles, that did work, surprisingly as ist several years old…

now lets see.
