I'm new to Home Assistant and cannot complete the setup

Hi everyone,

I’m new so apologies in advance. I’ve been using Google Home and Smarthings for a long time and wanted to explore more advanced products. I did a lot of research and decided to purchase an Odriod N2+ which comes with Home Assistant already installed. I connected everything and can see the URL for setup but I cannot connect to complete the initial setup. I have tried from my android phone, iPad, and two laptops, and nothing. I tried the local:8123 on all the devices. I tried the IPv4 URL and nothing. My Eeros router is showing the same URL’s so I’m totally at a loss.

Check your router’s DHCP table for the address w.x.y.z it has assigned to the Odroid N2+.

Then point your webbrowser to that address on port 8123.
Make sure you provide http:// otherwise the browser will default to https which is not configured out of the box:
http://w.x.y.z:8123

I’m currently using an Eeros router and they don’t have a web-based interface so I don’t think I would be able to see that from the app.
