I have a group of switches called christmas_lights. This appears as switch.christmas_lights, but I can’t seem to use this entity as the target of an automation.
When I do choose it in the new automation UI, the group gets expanded into its constituent switch entities.
No particular problem, except if I update membership of the group. I assume any automations using that group, will need to be updated individually, which seems error-prone to me.
Am I missing something?
