I’m not OP, but as I was making my own calendar sync functionality, I learned there is no service to delete calendar events. So, I had to make a custom integration. During that process I learned that the CalDAV integration does not allow creating events. There is not functionality in HA to write to CalDAV entity. I’m not sure why it’s that way. You can create events for Local Calendar and Google Calendar though.
