Hello,
I’ve noticed that there are quite a few discrepancies in the user interface, especially in the margins, fonts and card styles.
I have taken screenshots on my Pixel 8 (as a visual sample) and then on Windows I have inspected the errors with the browser.
The errors I found are:
- Different font sizes and line spacing between different titles and headers.
- Different font sizes and line spacing between different paragraphs.
- Different margins sizes on almost every page. On the profile page there are no margins.
- Different distances between cards and elements.
- I never know why there are paddings on some pages and margins on others.
- The card style is not applied in the mobile version in the configuration page.
- (Personal opinion) Pages with tabs have no header
- (Personal opinion) I consider putting tabs on the Add-ons page. A FAB icon is useless in this case.
- (Personal opinion) The Companion Application page must have a different UI than the rest for some reason, because it is internal device configuration, or why?
- (Personal opinion) The General page should have headings and dividers to be able to understand what I am seeing, it is too generic, without any structure.
It seems as if you are adding functionality but with different styles and then not rectified throughout the previous section, having different graphic styles.
A global overhaul of the UI, but just a few touches, would make it more visually pleasing and cohesive for advanced and new users.
Note: All of this I am seeing from the mobile version, including tablet, which I use.
Thanks!
