I just installed hass.io for rasbperryPI and have it running. However when I ssh into the pi and check the IP address it returns an address of 172.30.33.0/23 when actually I access it via the web interface of 192.168.1.115. If I try to use any of the nmcli commands to see how it is configured they do not exist either. From what I have read hass.io is basically raspbian with Home Assistant integrated into it. If someone would explain what I am seeing i would like to understand the configuration.
172.30.33.0/23 is the address (range) for Docker’s internal networking. Hassio runs Home Assistant in a Docker container.
It was a docker container on a cut down version of raspbian but now it is based on buildroot
