I recently switched my TV from switch type to the TV device class to allow it to show up as a TV. When I made this change I also gained the ability to switch source inputs within the home app. I noticed that whenever I turn on the tv in the home app it always displays “HDMI 1” by default and does not show the proper source the TV is currently set at. If I change the source it will then show the correct source. The correct source is always displayed properly within home assistant itself.
Is there something I am doing wrong or is this a limitation of homekit.
