Increasing the size of the editor

Hello there!

i am quite new to developing in general and especially for Home Assistant. I am currently creating a card that lists all devices connected to my OpenWRT router and shows if they are reachable. The problem i have with my custom card is that the width is too much for Home Assistant. I think my card looks great by it self but when using the editor, Home Assistant would prefere a card half the width of mine. Here is a screenshot showing my problem.

Is there a simple way to increase the size of the editor so that my card fits? Or do i have to look into how to fit my card to the available space.

Yes, click the card title.

Are you using fixed sizes rather than relative ones?

Nice card btw!

Hey tom_l

is there a way to have the large version of the editor by default? i have changed my css a bit and now it fits the editor, but only in the large version. An alternative for me would be to have a scroll-bar in the preview-window, but i am struggling to add a bar. If i had a scroll-bar, then the small editor would look good, too. Because the dark-grey preview window does not fit my card.

Thanks for the help!

I don’t think so.

Scroll bars would be the way to go. I can’t help with that either though. I’m no frontend dev.
