I hope someone can give me some advice and help. I have Influxdb installed as I have years of temperature data and the standard HA db isn’t up to storing that amount of data.
A few days ago I had an error that an addon could not start. That was Influx DB. All data should be recorded into influxdb.I I changed the ports on the database and that seemed to work but then it crashed again. I reinstalled the DB but there is no historic data except for 10 days.
I have grafana installed as well. I have 6 months of backups. How can I can I make sure the data is still there? How can I merge the data back?
I have a temperature view that goes back in x hours, but its only showing 10 days.
I also had to repair a hard drive error yesterday so that may have had something to do with it.
