Initial state for a smart plug

Hi
I’ve just add a smart plug with a standard bulb. I used to switch on my light with a standard electric switch. But now, with the smart plug, when I want to switch the light on with standard switch, I just power the smart plug, but its state if off, so, with the electric switch, I can’t switch the light on.
How to set the smart plug on the initial state: “on”

Which plug? How is it related to Home Assistant?

Osram smart plug. Zigbee connection. It is integrated from Philips Hue bridge.

I don’t think there’s such an option for plugs, only for bulbs as far as I know.

ok thanks for the information.

Tuya/Blitzwolf plugs support on/off/restore. OSRAM/LEDvance don‘t.

Good to know, thanks for the info.

I didn’t have any power outage in the last 10 years and no one uses the physical switches over here (“educated” the wife to not use them ), so I never bothered with these settings anyway.

that’s why I thought I can create an automation to switch the light on, when the smart plug in powered ie when I switch the standard physical switch ( from “unavailable” state or “unknown” state, to initial state ie “off” )
I don’t know if it is possible, and if so, what are the syntaxes ?
