I’ve tried to build my own (weather) display from an (old) kindle … but you have have the right model and the right firmware.

A view days ago I stumbled across this crowdfunding e-ink display. Looks very promising, I hope that I can finally build my (weather) display with it. (I would use a mounted TFT, but exactly on this spot I don’t have any outlet anywhere near, so I hope this will run of a powerbank für 2-3 months)

Stumbled to this also and thinking if this would be a good way to make larger control panel for HA. It has I2C connection to additional microcontroller or raspberry. Not sure what we could do with it’s own esp32.

I also looked for larger e-paper screen that would have SPI and touch screen. But could not find anything over 4" with a reasonable price.
