Input_Number as Statistic

Hi,

I store my set-temps for my room heating in input_numbers as I have a custom control for my boiler. I want to be able to plot the set-temps against the actual temps to see the heating algorithm performance over time but I cannot plot the set-temp on the graph as it doesn’t qualify as a statistic.

Is there a way to enable this? I know I could use the soft-thermostat sensor option, but that would involve re-writing quite a lot of my code at this point.

I’m unsure about enabling an input_number as a statistic directly, but you could just set up a template sensor that mirrors the helper’s value.
