Input Select Dropdown button shows history and log, not the dropdown

I have setup a helper, a dropdown, with 3 options.
However when I add this helper to the lovelace UI via a card when i clock on entity it shows a window with the history and log and THEN the dropdown selector list…

how do i get it to show just the dropdown list?

Use an Entities card instead of an Entity card… it’s silly, but that’s how it is.
