I’ve just received a new Tuya T6E panel and have found I can not connect using adb. Keep getting this error “No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. (10061)”.
I have tried using Wifi and using the OTG USB connector but no luck.
That is one of the problems with Tuya.
You never know what you get.
Tuya is constantly changing their code and now there is a new chip in use also.
If you have the new chip in your device then you might look into Open Beken as an alternative firmware.
I do not know if your device use the newer chip and I do not know if the flash process is different.
It was just info to maybe give you more options to seek an answer.
I personally have avoided Tuya devices, so I have no experience with them myself.
Thanks, appreciate the tip. What I meant was if I look into Open Beken as a firmware alternative, won’t I hit the same brick wall trying to flash this firmware onto the device given I don’t seem to be able to get Dev access>
There are ways to flash with cables instead, but if that can be done with Open Beken,I do not know.
It might also be that you need to connect extra pins to put it into flash mode, but for getting help with this people would need to know what is physically inside the device.
The T6E is an android device so open Beken won’t be appropriate for it. I have the same issue. Hopefully we can find a solution. The problem is that tuya have added a password to the adb shell command meaning you can sideload without it.
I just received my AVATTO T6E panel from Aliexpress and realized it is locked and it is asking for Tuya login when running adb shell commands. Was anyone able to find a workaround?
