Install Home assistant supervised via Docker on a Intel NUC

Hi all,
unfortunately my Raspberry Pi 3 has died, so since I have an Intel NUC available, I was thinking of taking the opportunity to install home assistant OS Supervised and import the latest backup.

The issue is that my NUC (running Debian 12 server) already hosts several Docker services, so I’d like to install everything via Docker without compromising the existing setup.

The guides I find here (Installation - Home Assistant) suggest starting from scratch by installing the dedicated OS, which is not a viable solution in my case.

I’ve come across some third-party guides, but they seem outdated because I ran into various issues right from the first steps of installing the .deb packages, which made me hesitate for fear of breaking everything.

How should I proceed?

why not installing home assistant as docker?

Alternative - Home Assistant

Or run HAOS (Not HA Supervised) in a VM on that machine.

I already tried that: it works, but it provide only Home Assistant Core, which prevents me to import addons

Most of the add ons are also available as docker image

All are available

Maybe try:
