Did you follow these steps here (particularly step 8)?
I do not even get to the desktop, it stops on install as seen in the picture in past comment.

To clarify, I’m asking what happens if you navigate to http://homeassistant.local:8123 or http://x.x.x.x:8123 (where x.x.x.x is the IP address of your Pi) on another computer.
I don’t even get to the desktop on the install.
The Pi itself does not show a user interface if you plug in a display; it just displays console output. Please re-read my previous message for what to try.
ok, I see the PI on 162.168.1.205 in my router.
When I put 162.168.1.205 in my browser I get message took to long to respond.
