Installation at Mini-PC with virtual box failed

Hello, I’m currently failing several times to install Home Assistant on a Mini PC in a Virtualbox. The Mini PC runs on Windows 11 and I have done the installation several times according to a youtube video tutorial.

When installing the VB, I clicked on Next (e.g. Windows api) when asked about the dependencies (e.g. Windows api)

In the Virtualbox I have made all performance settings as requested, also the network bridge is activated, only the audio settings are not set to IBM because this is not offered by me. Up to the Home Assistant Command Line, everything seems to be running normally. IPv4 addresses for emp0s3: xxx.xxx.x.xxx/24
I get port 8123 displayed.

If I now do this in the form xxx.xxx.x.xxx:8123 or http://homeassistant.local 8123 in the browser of the Mini-PC I get the error message that no connection can be established.

The same in the browser of the PC ́ in the same network from which I access the Mini PC remotely.

I have already switched off virus scanners
I have not enabled a port on the router,

I’m not very clever in network matters and therefore relied 1 to 1 on the instructions of the video, so I have no idea what else I can do to make the Home Assistant work Maybe someone has a hint on how to proceed

Hi welcome to the forum!

Do you need w11 on that system?
If not: get rid of it since Windows & VirtualBox is one of the worst combo’s to run a server on.

Have you read the Virtualbox section in the official install instructions? One thing is that you must be using a wired connection, not wifi. What are you using?

Yes I need W11 unfortunatelly and I have a wired connection.
Do you think using VMWare would be better?
Can the router setting have something to do with the problem. However, it doesn’t work if I use the virtual machine and the browser with the IP on the same PC.
