Installation Hass.io, no space in SD Card

Hey guys,

As a beginner and domestic user, I`m trying to instal the Home Assistant in a Raspberry PI 3B. I used several cards, several supply (2.5 and 3A) and all the time the instalattion stops according the picture bellow:

Ive used to format the and burn the image card with different softwares and the result is the same. At this moment, I using a 64GB class 10 SD card exFAT to install.

If anyone can help, thank you in advance.

Not sure how you are trying to install…but starting from scratch:

If you have a windows system…use AOMEI (free download) to format the sd card into one exfat partition. download the correct version of home assistant and use balana etcher to write the image to the sd card. Insert the sdcard in the pi3. I use the 32 bit version on the 3b.

Or just use the built in Windows Disk Management, which works perfectly.

@JNatal try this image instead and see if you have any success.

No…if the card has been formatted for Linux, windows won’t see those partitions…and there is no way to reformat the entire card…which may be the OP’s problem. You need a special program to format the entire card,

The Raspberry Pi OS installations on an SSD and SD card I formatted that way this morning would disagree with you.

You don’t need to format before you flash the image.

Hello, sorry for the late reply.

I just replaced the SD Card and the installation works fine

Thank you, guys!
