Installation of Home Assistant Green stuck

Trying to setup my Home Assistant Green for the first time and I am getting the following error code over and over again:
2026-06-24 16:46:32.145 INFO (MainThread) [supervisor.updater] No Supervisor connectivity, delaying version fetch

2026-06-24 16:46:32.146 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.homeassistant.core] Error on Home Assistant installation. Retrying in 30sec

Any ideas on how to fix this? I am new to all of this

Do you have it connected to the internet?

Yes, I followed the instructions from the box, connected to my router via Ethernet and plugged into power. It's been well over the "This may take 20 minutes or more"

Does my router have to be in 'Bridge Mode'?

You haven't told us what make and model and current configuration your router is set up for, so we don't know.

If other devices can connect to the internet via your router, the chances are the green will too, unless you have DNS or NTP configured wrong [these are the two most common issues reported for people starting out]. Your green error log will guide you if it has problems, and the Nabu Casa website has a lot of troubleshooting information that will assist. Hint: Avoid asking AI, as often their information is outdated slop and just plain wrong.

Initial setup of the green relies on downloading a lot of data from the internet. On a slow internet link, that can take quite a while, so be patient and leave it overnight, rather than panicking and fixing a non-existent problem.

Sometimes a restart can fix a stuck connection problem. Try it once and monitor your error log.

Something is blocking Home Assistant from reaching github.

Could be a setting in your router, a DNS ad blocker, or your default DNS provider (try setting your router to use 1.1.1.1).

Or it could be a bad cable. Try another.

What does the welcome screen say if you temporarily connect a monitor to the green's HDMI port?
