Installation (RPi4) problems

So a few days ago I ran into an issue like this topic: Stopped working, completely

Thought it was an SD issue, figured I’d do a fresh install and use the Google drive backup addon to get going again.

Used BalenaEtcher and the image for the rpi4 (tried both 32 and 64, same result) using the “USB stick” method for static IP and wifi. When the pi boots if does it’s magic, in my Unify software I can see that it connects to the wifi correct and has the ip I assigned to it. After some time I open the app on my phone and see the “onboarding” page; enter name, username, password. And when entering that it just “stops”.

The app shows HA API not configured:

and the prompt on the pi shows:

Kinda stuck now, anyone got some thoughts on this?

Try first with a browser. I don’t use the app myself, but it probably needs some configuration. The browser does not.

Tried that, but keep getting connection refused in browser.

In the web browser, are you attempting to connect to the IP address or mDNS name?

http, or https?

http, ip address.

Gotten a little further now, saw in the router that the wifi lease was 0, edited the my-network file to use auto ip, now trying to recover from backup, will post findings later.
