Installed and linked Conbee with deconz, but i cant pair? testing with ikea tradfri remote

ok, i received my Conbe stick today, installed deconz as addon, it sees my stick in the phoscon app, also updated firmware
in hassio i go to integrations, it was succesfully added, i also see the new virtual demo sensor in hassio
so everything looks good

for the moment i only have the ikea tradfri remote switch, if i go the phoscon app, to add the switch, seems you need the press the button on back 4 times within 5 seconds, that it needs to be linked/paired… but i am unable too?

what am i missing? i am sitting next to it, so distance is not an issue

if i install the deconz software on my local laptop, and open phoscon, it works without an issue?
i can connect directly to the ikea remote switch
if i plug it back in in my hassos systrem, i cant pair

i am running hassos 1.12 , hass 82.0 , and also on ESXI, with USB device added as device on my host

what am i missing here

If the remote was previously linked to another device I suggest to try and reset it before trying to pair again.

Are you sure the stick is recognized by the os?

no, everything is brand new , but i succeeded now, i switch the USB port on my esxi server, now it finds the device from the first time

strange…

but its connected now to the phoscon app :slight_smile:

should i see that remote now as a entity in hassio or as a sensor or something?
