HI am new to home assistant, just installed HA on windows pc, however i cannot find my iot devices on dashboard. my smart switches are wifi Alisan & Iotics brand which are not listed on HA.
how can i add those devices on HA. most importantly shouldn’t those devices be visible if I am on the same network
Some devices can be found if the devices make themselves present on the network.
Others can be found by manually adding them.
And some will never be able to be used with HA because the vendor/manufacturer use a system where the device connect directly to their cloud servers with no option to redurect that.
The control of such devices are usually only possible through the vendors app and maybe a few select third party systems chosen by the vendor.

There are integrations for them, but I do not use either, so I can’t say what is possible.
I would think so though, and today there is also the added possibility of multi-admin of Matter devices that can be used for sharing.
