EDIT: Apparently Tuya Convert OTA provides version 9.2, but it is the lite version. Need to figure out how to update the devices to a version HA will work with.
I am using these plugs with the most recent Tuya-Convert OTA install for Tasmota 9.2. The process went through successfully and I am getting readings / control from the plugs webserver. I have set up MQQT on the Tasmota plugs, and the logs on Tasmota show that it seems to be connecting with my Home Assistant install successfully.
Logs from Tasmota:
On Mosquito MQQT in Home Assistant, the logs show that it connects, but I am seeing a lot of “Socket error” messages. However this is seemingly from an unknown device with a different IP / IP scheme…I’m not totally sure what this is. Could this be the Tasmota plug?:
The Tasmota integration on Home Assistant is installed but doesn’t show any new devices, even after server restarts. Also, if I listen for the “washing_machine” topic in MQQT settings, I don’t seem to get anything (however, I am new to MQQT and am not sure if that is the correct topic to listen to, thus attaching Tasmota config too):
Edit: I made sure to run SetOption19 0
on Tasmota and it is worth noting I have other MQQT devices on my network integrating with HA successfully using the same name/pass.
What are some next steps I can do to troubleshoot here?
