Hi HA community,
I’m trying to get Home Assistant 0.30 to work on Synology DS110j.
In short:
When starting the hass-daemon according to the installation guide, I get a “cannot import name ‘coroutines’” when asyncio tries to import coroutines.
I’m completely new to python and also not very experienced with Linux, so I don’t know how to fix this and also didn’t find help googeling or searching this forum…
What I did so far:
installed python 3.4
made sure to install homeassistant to python 3, not pre-installed 2.7 (following troubleshooting page)
I kept searching for hours, no solution yet.
Could it be related to the python version? I’m on 3.4.1, the latest the packet manager on my Synology offers.
I read that python 3.5 introduced some changes asyncio related to coroutines… could this be the reason?
Hi, dont know if your Syno is capable of, but on my old 411+ i have HA Docker running. Although its more a test plattform atm. If you want to you can contact me with personal message, as i saw you have a common interest with shutters too. I’m situated in SW germany.
