Installing Home Assistant on USB drive on NAS

Hello all, I have a Synology DS415+ and I’ve plugged in a 256GB usb drive. I now wan to install Home Assistant in Docker but on the usb drive instead of the internal drives but I cannot find any guide on how to do this. The reason I want to install it on USB is to reduce load on the internal disks.

Anyone have experience with this?

The HDDs will handle the load better long term than an USB drive.

Probably a question for Synology, on how/where/whether any NAS user could run dockers in a different volume.
