Installing in Lima VM

Hello!

I’m trying to install Home Assistant in a Lima VM. I used to have it running well in a VM running under UTM but since Lima is also QEMU and seems to run a little bit snappier, I thought of migrating.

I create a Debian 12 machine and follow the instructions for the supervised installation.

All goes well during the install but eventually things don’t work properly.

Using the observer I see there’s an issue with the network manager

I am using the shared network interface from Lima using socket_vmnet (Network | Lima). Things seem to work but I get a bunch of errors related with the supervisor:

23-10-23 15:02:55 WARNING (MainThread) [supervisor.dbus.agent] Can’t connect to OS-Agent

Any idea of what might be happening here? Anyone else running HAOS on Lima?

Thanks a lot for the support!
