Apologies if I’ve missed this somewhere - I’m considering switching from Rasbiaan to hass.io in the hopes of better stability - but can’t seem to find whether it’ll be possible to install other services on the pi? (e.g. motion/mqtt broker/paradox python scripts/etc)
hassio includes what are called ‘add-ons’. If there is an application that you want that does not have an add-on already created, you can go through the process to convert a Docker container to an add-on.
You do not have any access to the host OS to do anything “Linux-y”
