The docker installation is just an alternative to HA add-ons. You choose the installation method that fits you best.
As I understand it, you use HA add-ons, so you don’t need docker.
For this to work, you need the following:
- MQTT broker (it’s in the default add-on store)
- MQTT integration: MQTT - Home Assistant
- QBUSMQTT add-on
- QBHA add-on
The last two are in my repo on GitHub - thomasddn/home-assistant-addons: Home Assistant add-ons. Both add-ons are required.
