Installing reolink in Hacs

Hi, I have a reolink E1 zoom camera. I tried installing the Reolink IP camera integration in Hacs it things for a second and then it does nothing. It does not install. Does anyone have a solution for this?

thanks

If it installed via HACS it has its own github repository where issues belong

Ok, thanks. I thought somebody here maybe had the same and could point me to a solution.

Where in HACS is the Reolink IP camera … I cant find it via the search function in HACS

From HACS main page, naviagte to settings, and where it says “add custom repository” put “https://github.com/fwestenberg/reolink

Nick… I have no such page… Selecting the HACS from my menu

takes me to… I go to

Where It has no " Settings"

<<< EDIT>>

Ahh top right corner… then I get…
Capture.4JPG

hacs -> integrations

Lower right corner is + Explore & Add Repositories. Click it. Find Reolink.

yep… not there!

and

You haven’t installed the repo have you?

EDIT because of the red on black I missed the error message Repostitory structure for v0014 is not compliant in your post. Upon further investigation it looks like https://github.com/fwestenberg/reolink is not a custom component at all, it is a python script to access reolink. (I knew I shouldn’t have copy/pasted a solution from another thread without checking, sorry 'bout that).

Got it.

Use this url for HACS https://github.com/fwestenberg/reolink_dev

Looks like @fwestenberg has split his repo

Nick…that was it!

Which version is the most stable?
Thanks everyone!!!

Next question… How do I fill out this…
Capture

Is there one for each camera… Or do I need to drop into yaml and configure each camera as an entity

Hello, how are you? Good year.
I managed to install the Reolink IP camera in the hack. But it does not appear in the integrations
Supervisor
Version
2020.12.7

It takes some time. I also thought it was not working. After a day or so I tried again and saw the integration. A restart might help also.

This is third party software, post an issue on their github.

How did you get to this options screen. I cannot work out how to set anything up in the latest version?

This is a custom component, why not post on the author’s github?

It took a couple of times trying to add the integration for it to work… it was a PITA… but once I got it installed its been working just fine…

Just wait til you use the app then come back to this integration. The stream won’t work anymore. I dropped this integration for a normal stream. Not to mention, half the time the stream stopped working all together without external app use.

Thanks @fwestenberg, integration is working with the new Reolink RLC-520A
