Hello community!
I am looking for some kind of instant shutter for a camera. I plan on using a camera for the yard. But to not let the neighbors feel spied on, I want to hide the camera in a wooden compartment with a little hole on the frontside. This hole needs to be closed and only be opened whenever I want it to be, instantly. I was thinking of a magnetic lock, which pulls up the cover/shutter. But I have little concerns about the distance. I don’t have experience with motors whatsoever. Do you have any recommendations for moving parts instantly? It shouldn’t take a second.
